“It is my great privilege to share my testimony and to tell of how God called me into His ministry.”

I was born and raised in a Christian family, with parents who were devoted servants of God. I was the second child in our family, conceived shortly after the birth of my older sister.

During my mother’s first pregnancy, she experienced serious complications, and when she became pregnant with me, doctors advised her to terminate the pregnancy. Although she was deeply unwilling to do so, after much consideration, she eventually followed the medical advice. However, the medication did not work, and I was born into this world.

Looking back, I believe my life was in God’s hands from the very beginning. As Psalm 139 declares:

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb… all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

Because of this, my parents dedicated me to the Lord from an early age, with the desire that my life would one day be used for His purpose.

However, as I grew older, I began to drift further and further away from God, conforming to the ways of the world and becoming increasingly entangled in sin. This became even more pronounced after I moved to the United Kingdom in 2004.

For 17 long years, I lived a life dominated by smoking and drinking. Even after becoming a father, I continued along the same path. Yet, despite how far I had wandered, God had not forgotten me.

On 29 February 2012, everything changed.

I had a powerful encounter with God that became a defining turning point in my life. At that time, during the eight years I had been in the UK, I had attended church only seven times. But following that encounter, something began to change within me.

The very next week, as a family, we made the decision to attend church on a Sunday.

We began attending church regularly, and week after week, the preaching seemed to speak directly into my life. Three months later, I began serving in the worship team by playing the keyboard.

Then, on 7 October 2012, I made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, and I was baptised.

As I continued to grow in my relationship with the Lord, He began to use me as a vessel to lead worship and serve His church. What had begun with a simple decision to walk through the doors of a church became the beginning of a completely transformed life.

In 2014, I came to understand more clearly the purpose and calling God had placed upon my life. Through His promises and His Word, He called me to serve Him and to dedicate my life to His ministry.

Then, by the grace of God, on 6 December 2015, our family took a step of faith and began Jesus Saves Global Ministries from our home.

What began in a home has continued to grow through the grace, faithfulness and strength of God. Throughout this journey, we have witnessed His leading, provision and faithfulness time and time again.

My testimony is a reminder that no one is ever beyond the reach of God’s grace. The life I once lived is not the life I live today, because Jesus Christ transformed me.

I give all glory, honour and praise to God for His mercy, His calling and His faithfulness. What He began in my life, He continues to accomplish for His Kingdom.

To God be all the glory.
