FOUNDER'S TESTIMONY

It is my great privilege to share my testimony and how God called me into his ministry.

I was born and brought up in a Christian family, my parents are dedicated servants of God. I am the second child for my parents, I was conceived quickly after my older sister’s birth. Due to complications with her first pregnancy, my mother was advised by the doctors to terminate the pregnancy even though she was not willing to do. After much thought, my mother unwillingly decided to take the doctor’s advice. However, the medicine did not work, and I was born into this world. As Psalms 139 says the Lord knit me together in my mother’s womb, his eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in his book before one of them came to be. Therefore, when I was a child, I was dedicated by my parents to serve the Lord.

As I grew up, I conformed more and more to the worldly life and its sins which only became worse when I moved to the UK in 2004. I was a heavy smoker and heavy drinker for 17 long years, my sinful life continued even after I became a father, until the 29th of February 2012. I had an incredible encounter with God that became a turning point in my life, in these 8 years I had only been to church 7 times. The very next week we made a decision as a family to go to church on Sunday.

We started going to church regularly, every week the sermon spoke to me personally, 3 months later I started to play keyboard in the worship team and on the 7th of October 2012, I accepted the Lord as my Saviour and was baptized. As I grew more and more each day in the Lord, He used me as a vessel to lead worship in the church.

In 2014, I realized and understood God’s purpose for me in this world. Through his promise he called me to serve him. By his grace, on the 6th of December 2015 we started Jesus Saves Global Ministries as a family, at home. Since then, God has been leading us mightily in this ministry with his grace and strength.
